Ask this case
Ask this case a question, get the answer with its page
Ask this case searches the case’s own pages and answers in short claims, each with the page and the words that show it. A claim whose words are not on that page is dropped.

Who this is for
Attorneys, paralegals and case managers who need one fact from a large file today, on personal injury and employment cases. The California personal injury deadlines guide lists the facts to find first, and Ask this case is on every plan (pricing).
How an answer is built
Step 1: Search the case
A full-text search over this case’s pages, scanned pages included, finds up to eight relevant pages. Those pages and the case timeline are all the model sees.
Step 2: Answer in claims
The model answers only in claims. Each claim names a page and copies the words from it that show the fact, up to about 25 words.
Step 3: Check every quote
Code checks each quote against its page. A claim whose words are not there is dropped. If nothing is left, the answer is “Not found in the records.”
Two answers, as they appear
Both are real answers from the measured run on test case files: one the records answer, one they do not.
Question

- The cervical MRI impression also noted no acute osseous abnormality.Page 37 Words on the page: “No acute osseous abnormality.”
Question
What is the client’s blood type?
Answer
Not found in the records.
Questions about damages
A question about a damages amount is answered only from an approved damages review. When the case has none, the answer says so, and no model is asked.
Recordings
Audio and video are never read. When a question is about a recording, or the case holds recordings and the answer was not found, the answer adds: “Recordings (audio and video) were not reviewed: Brennick reads documents only.”
Who can ask, and how often
Anyone at your firm can ask, on any case. Each person can ask 100 questions a day, and the count resets at midnight UTC. The limit is there to stop abuse, not to ration use. Asking never uses one of your cases.
Each question and answer is saved on the case for your team to read back, and each answer is written to the audit log.
When AI processing is off for a case, or a 42 CFR Part 2 case has not been cleared by a licensed attorney, no question about it goes to a model.
FAQs
What does “Not found in the records.” mean?
The search found nothing that answers the question, or no claim survived the quote check. It does not mean the fact is false, only that Brennick could not show it on a page.
Does it read scanned pages?
Yes. It searches the text Brennick read from every page of the case, scanned pages included.
Is there a limit?
100 questions per person per day, reset at midnight UTC.
Does it give legal advice?
No. It answers what the records say, with the page, and it is told not to predict results or give legal advice.
